C Buhler is a Southern California based artist.  Much of the inspiration for the paintings and prints is drawn from local subjects, particularly local birds and tide pools, however inspiration can be found through the world.  An active participant with the local hummingbird rescue, C  enjoys creating watercolor paintings of these tiny jewels of the sky.  

C also enjoys expressing herself through printmaking. While larger more studied prints are often based on the natural world, the small animal-filled prints are sometimes interpretations of world-themes such as love, envy, suspicion, etc., as well as frequently just expressions of whimsy and joy, and love for animals.
